The Grand Arts Council is having their grand opening bash this Saturday, the 21st and are looking for local artists to donate work for their silent auction. Festivities begin at 6:30 pm with facility tours, silent auction, door prizes, food, libations, and a free concert by Kort McCumber, a musician from the Front Range. His live performances are described as "An original Americana Hootenanny!" on his website. It should be a great evening - he was named one of Colorado's finest songwriters by the "Daily Camera" in 2008.
